East FC Announces Partnership with Wyoming Soccer Academy

East Futbol Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Wyoming Soccer Academy (WSA)—formerly known as Lobos—expanding the East FC family and strengthening opportunities for players and coaches across the Grand Rapids community.

Beginning in Fall 2026, Wyoming Soccer Academy teams will compete under the banner East FC–Wyoming, creating a new branch of the club dedicated to serving the Wyoming area. The program will continue to be led by Lobos founder Jose Luis Leos, whose passion for developing young players and building community through the game has made Lobos an important part of the local soccer landscape.

East FC–Wyoming will hold separate tryouts and operate locally, with training sessions at West Elementary School in Wyoming, Michigan and games hosted at West Elementary and the Kroc Center.

Through this partnership, WSA players and coaches will gain access to East FC’s coach education and development programs, along with opportunities for joint training sessions, club events, and collaborative experiences that connect players across both programs.

For East FC, the partnership represents an important step in the club’s continued growth while staying rooted in the communities that shaped the game locally.

“Many of our coaches and families have deep ties to the Wyoming community,” said East FC Founder, Fabian Rodriguez. “This partnership allows us to build something meaningful on the west side of Grand Rapids—expanding access to high-quality coaching and player development while honoring the work that Jose Luis and the Lobos program have already built.”

Founded in 2024, East Futbol Club has quickly become one of the fastest-growing youth soccer organizations in the Grand Rapids area. Built around the belief that the game should develop the whole player—technically, competitively, and as a person—East FC focuses on creating environments where players can grow, compete, and experience the joy of the game.

With the addition of East FC–Wyoming, the club continues to expand opportunities for players across the region while strengthening connections between communities that share a deep love for the sport.

Wyoming Soccer Academy now officially joins the East FC family.
