Our ultimate goal is to prepare young players for the next stage of their personal and soccer journeys by nurturing decision-making, resilience, and leadership through the game.

Our Leadership

East FC is led by Fabian Rodriguez and Jesse Zamudio (Directors of Coaching) and Juan Fernandez (General Manager).

Fabian and Jesse are recognized leaders in the Grand Rapids soccer community and are two of the region’s top advocates for futsal-driven player development. Their combined experience, deep passion for the game, and commitment to a player-first development model are the driving forces behind everything that sets East FC apart.

In addition to more than 20 years of head coaching coaching experience, Juan is a gifted leader with a track record of success in operations, marketing, and leadership. His experience assembling teams and leading complex operations brings a level of professionalism and efficiency to East FC which is rarely found in the youth sports world.
