East FC Shines at the 2025 West Michigan Soccer Cup

With over 300 teams and more than 40 clubs represented, the 2025 West Michigan Soccer Cup (WMSC) was one of the region’s most competitive and exciting tournaments to date — and East FC showed up in full force.

Across the weekend, our teams displayed more than just skill and strategy — they embodied the heart of our club philosophy: joy, respect, and player-centered development. For many of our teams, this was the first tournament of the season, with brand-new rosters, new players, and new coaches stepping onto the field together for the first time.

Despite that, the level of play was exceptional.

Out of 20 teams participating, East FC had 7 teams crowned champions in their division and 4 additional teams finish as finalists. These achievements reflect the talent and hard work of our players, as well as the dedication of our coaching staff. But beyond the wins and medals, we’re even prouder of how our teams carried themselves — with joy, humility, and a clear love for the game.

Tournament weekends like this are a reminder that when we focus on joy and growth, winning often follows.

As we head into the fall season, we’re energized by what we saw at WMSC — not just the results, but the relationships, progress, and passion that define East FC. To every player, coach, and family who represented the club this weekend: thank you. The future is bright, and this is just the beginning.
