East FC Congratulates Reese and Gracie Lynn on Their Commitment to Western Michigan University
Grand Rapids, MI –December 14, 2024 — East FC is proud to celebrate two outstanding athletes from the East Grand Rapids soccer community: Reese Lynn and Gracie Lynn, who have officially committed to play collegiate soccer at Western Michigan University.
The Lynn twins, both standout juniors at East Grand Rapids High School, have been key players on the Varsity team since their freshman year — a rare achievement that reflects their exceptional talent, work ethic, and competitive spirit. Over the past two seasons, Reese and Gracie have combined for an incredible 58 goals at the varsity level, helping lead their team to success and establishing themselves as two of the top prospects in the region.
Their journey is a powerful example of the strong connection between the East Grand Rapids soccer program and East FC. Coach Fabian Rodriguez, East FC Club Director and head coach of the East Grand Rapids High School boys and girls varsity teams, has been instrumental in developing a player-centered culture at both the club and high school levels. The Lynn twins’ growth and success are a testament to the consistent coaching philosophy that emphasizes technical skill, creativity, resilience, and intelligent play.
"The success of players like Reese and Gracie Lynn shows what’s possible when young athletes are given the right environment to grow," said Fabian Rodriguez. "They’ve worked hard, stayed committed to their development, and we couldn't be prouder to see them take the next step in their soccer journeys at the collegiate level."
East FC is deeply proud of its role in fostering a 360-degree player development environment, connecting grassroots soccer with high school excellence and opening doors to college opportunities for its players. The pathway built through East FC, combined with strong partnerships at East Grand Rapids High School, is providing local players with the tools, mentorship, and competitive platform they need to achieve their goals.
We wish Reese and Gracie the very best as they continue their journey with the Broncos at Western Michigan University — and we can’t wait to watch all the success that lies ahead!
