Why Attend Open Training?

Open Training is a chance for players and families to get a better feel for East FC before tryouts.

Players will be able to:

  • Train with East FC coaches
  • Play alongside current and prospective East FC players
  • Meet potential future teammates
  • Experience our player-first training environment
  • Be seen by East FC staff before June tryouts
  • Get familiar with the 2026–2027 school-year age groupings

For visiting players, this is a great low-pressure opportunity to see if East FC may be the right fit.

For current East FC players, these sessions help our staff begin evaluating players within the new 2026–2027 competition year age groups.

The Process

Step 1: Register Online

All players should register before attending Open Training.

Step 2: Attend Open Training

Players may attend one or both Open Training dates:

  • Wednesday, April 29, 2026
  • Wednesday, May 27, 2026

The schedule and field assignments will be the same for both dates.

There is no need to check in at a registration table when you arrive. Players should go directly to the field where their age group is training.

Step 3: Let Us Know If You’d Like to Be Evaluated

If your player is interested in being evaluated for a potential fit with an East FC team, please talk to one of our coaches before or after the training session.

You are also welcome to follow up with us after the session, but it is helpful for our staff to know ahead of time when a player is hoping to be evaluated.
